Contest Time !!

I thought it would be fun to host a little contest as a kind of change of pace . The prize will be a good sized baggie full of fabric ( lots of silk , satin ect ..) maybe some neat buttons , trims , beads ,threads ect... I really need to clean out some of my stash and thought this would be a fun way to do it. I will have y'all post a comment and then on the LAST day of Jan I will put all the names into a bowl and have my daughter draw a name out - maybe a couple of names if I get lots of comments.

Hi Amy! Thanks for leaving the nice comment on my blog. I managed to get myself here to yours and will have fun looking through to see what you do. Right away I see some CQ, so that alone will be fun!
Cheers

Oooo! Count me in. My name is Wendy and I am a fairly new embroiderer, except not at all new to sewing and quilting. I love following all these blogs and your blog is in my google reader so I don't miss a posting. Thanks so much for including me.

Oh Amy I really like the fan addition to your block. I am working on curves myself and have not been successful but I will continue until I can get no puckers.
Wonderful idea for getting rid of some stash
Thanks for thinking of your cq friends

hi amy
my name is tammy and i came to your blog thru pat winters gathering100.blogspot-just love what she creates:)
i am just wandering around getting idea's to do my first ever CQ square-love what i see you are doing and i wouldn't mind being apart of your cleaning out of your stash:)
i hope to get something started very soon-just trying to get my brain wrapped around the process i am not handy with a sewing machine i would rather hand stitch so a CQ square is something i think i will enjoy :) thanks for sharing your work with us
