ALQS 2

It took me forever to decide on a pattern for the ALQS round 2. However I think that my partner will like this one. Sorry about the bad photo, my camera wasn't wanting to play nice tonight. The fabric's look so much better in person. They are all Civil War Era fabric's . I am doing buttonhole stitching around all of the elements in this mini. I am not sure yet if I will put a border around it yet or if I will just bind it, I'll decide after i get all the buttonhole stitching done.

Amy this is going to be just beautiful. I love the fabrics and I love buttonhole stitch. I have been doing that stitch on some appliqued placemats (on the machine) and also used it (by hand) on a wool jack-o-lantern wall hanging. It really sets the applique off well I think. blessings, marlene
