Redwork RR - Shay's Blocks

These are Shay's blocks. The background fabric isn't really blue it's a bright white . These are from some vintage iron on patterns that Shay had - they are very pretty.

Redwork RR Update

This is the block that I stitched for Bette . I just love her patterns & her colour choices. Just awesome !!! I will be mailing this out to Shay on Friday when I get paid.

Redwork RR - Bette's Blocks

I recived another Redwork RR package in the mail last week , this is Bette's blocks . The first one was stitched by Sharon , the second one was stitched by Anita and the third was stitched by Bette . I just love these blocks , they are done in the Baltimore Album style.

Here are a couple more photo's from the Redwork RR that I am hosting . These 2 blocks were stitched by Shay . Top is one of my blocks a Columbine and bottom is another of Anita's blocks . This RR has been so much fun !! I will be getting another package in the mail shortly , the 25th is our mailout date . I think we have all decided to do another round when this one is done :)

Turkish girl Done :)

Well I have finally finished stitching on the Turkish Girl from Sharon's package , if I wasn't so overbooked this month I would be very tempted to stitch another block as I really liked the little Egyptian boy . I am very happy with how she turned out , the colours look so much better in person . I think she took about 12 hours of stitching time . Sharon is going to give me the addy of where she found these patterns , I want to do a little wall hanging of maybe 20 blocks or so. I really like the on - point setting that Sharon is doing and I hope that she shows us all a pic of the finished quilt.

Turkish Girl

This is my progress on the little Turkish child. She is comming along very nice :) I am loving her colours !! I can't wait to see what she looks like when I get her all stitched up.

Redwork RR - Sharon's Block

This is Sharon's Block stitched up by Anita , who by the way does very nice stitches. Sharon chose some of the cutest little patterns they are children of the world . I finally decided on Turkey though I really liked Egypt too ! I am a huge Egypt buff , I love studying about anicent Egypt !! I will post a photo of my Turkey child when I get her done

fun to stitch. Her patterns were so pretty it made it

hard to decide which one to choose . I chose this one because one of my little Rat Terriers is named Violet .

I am very excited because soon I will be getting another package in the mail .
