Cheyenne's 11th Birthday :)

Well all my big girl has turned 11 , ugg I'm feeling old now ! She had a wonderful day , she got a DS & a game with it , lots of jewerly & a few purses.

1900's Crazy Quilt

This quilt was acquired from the estateof Agnesmae Eakin Fleming, born in 1912.Agnes moved from Iowa as a child, to Coronado, Calif.,where she lived until she passed away in 2004.She was an only child, and did not have children of her own. She attended Coronado High School and eventually became a Home Economics teacher

Fall Block Update

Well here is the new Fall block that I peiced today . And here is a pic of the 1/2 finished fall block , I'm still not totaly happy with it . That rusty pink stands out like a soar thumb , I bought a whole bunch of shirts today at Goodwill for my Fall C.Q. , I got 6 silk shirts and 2 velvet shirts all for .50 cents each , what a bargain !!!

A Trade From Janet

This is a bunch of silk that I got from Janet ( link to her blog in my sidebar , go check her out she does some awesome work !! ) I am sending her some crochet mofits that I had made , I have 1 more to finish up for her and I hope to have it done tonight so that I can mail out after work tomorrow . I will be useing a few of these silks in the fall CQ that I am making , I also will be useing some in a wall hanging that I am making for a friend of mine .

More Progress

Well I have managed to acomplish a little bit more on my Fall block , I hope to have my little owl done by tomorrow afternoon. Also I got my load of wood today , it is 200 8 foot long 2x4's , 60 10 foot long 1x6's and 35 4x4's 8 foot long and all for under 300.00 !! Now if it ever decideds to cool off I can get back to work on my dog kennel .

A little more work

I stayed up till midnight last night to finish off this little pumpkin , I think it turned out quite grand :) It was quite a challange , I've never worked one this little with this much detail . The whole pumpkin measures about 1 3/4 inches . I've still got a couple of seams to do on it then it will be packaged up to go to Gerry .

1884 Antique Crazy Quilt

I love this quilt ! The hand embroidery mofits on this quilt is very neat, I just love the little Squirrel and the butterfly's are so pretty .

Redwork RR - Bette's Blocks

I recived another Redwork RR package in the mail last week , this is Bette's blocks . The first one was stitched by Sharon , the second one was stitched by Anita and the third was stitched by Bette . I just love these blocks , they are done in the Baltimore Album style.
