Well the last couple of days I have been working on some thread crochet mofits . Wensday a freind of mine gave me a couple of balls of size 10 thread that she had found on a lawn sale. Hazel knew that I crochet , mind you I crochet with worsted weight yarn , I've never done thread crochet as I always felt like my fingers were just to darn big. The thread looked like it had seen better days , it was kinda dingy and stained but I felt like I had to at least try or I might hurt Hgazel's feelings . It took me 2 days to get these little mofits done up , they are about 1 1/4 inch across . I hand dyed some of the thread that I wound off one of the balls for the second photo , I don't think I made the colour changes big enough but I'll give that another go a diffrent day. The third photo is dyed a bright blue , much brighter in person and I'll use that one for my Tone on Tone crazy quilt. The last photo the mofit is really a pretty purple and not the blue that it looks like in the photo. I think I kinda like the thread crochet, I'm off to go hunt some more patterns for more mofits
