I just love this quilt, I saw it a few months back on Ebay. Sadly I wasn't able to win it. One day though I would like to try to reproduce it. It might even be really neat to do a crazy quilted version of it :) So many projects , so little time LOL :)

You may not be looking for a pattern for this quilt but I just saw it in one of my books last night. String Quilts with Style by Bobbie Aug and Sharon Newman. On Amazon, they have a photo of one of the blocks if you click on the photo of the book and flip back several pages.
I love string quilts and I love antique quilts so that one is right up my alley. I'm sorry you didn't get to buy it. Blessings, marlene
